clk: hisilicon: hi3559a: Fix an erroneous devm_kfree()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: hisilicon: hi3559a: Fix an erroneous devm_kfree() 'p_clk' is an array allocated just before the for loop for all clk that need to be registered. It is incremented at each loop iteration. If a clk_register() call fails, 'p_clk' may point to something different from what should be freed. The best we can do, is to avoid this wrong release of memory.

    clk: Fix clk_core_get NULL dereference

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: Fix clk_core_get NULL dereference It is possible for clk_core_get to dereference a NULL in the following sequence: clk_core_get() of_clk_get_hw_from_clkspec() __of_clk_get_hw_from_provider() __clk_get_hw() __clk_get_hw() can return NULL which is dereferenced by clk_core_get() at hw->core. Prior to commit dde4eff47c82 ("clk: Look for parents with clkdev based clk_lookups") the check IS_ERR_OR_NULL() was performed which would have caught the NULL. Reading the description of this function it talks about returning NULL but that cannot be so at t

clk: zynq: Prevent null pointer dereference caused by kmalloc failure

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: zynq: Prevent null pointer dereference caused by kmalloc failure The kmalloc() in zynq_clk_setup() will return null if the physical memory has run out. As a result, if we use snprintf() to write data to the null address, the null pointer dereference bug will happen. This patch uses a stack variable to replace the kmalloc().

f2fs: compress: fix to cover normal cluster write with cp_rwsem

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: compress: fix to cover normal cluster write with cp_rwsem When we overwrite compressed cluster w/ normal cluster, we should not unlock cp_rwsem during f2fs_write_raw_pages(), otherwise data will be corrupted if partial blocks were persisted before CP & SPOR, due to cluster metadata wasn't updated atomically.

octeontx2-af: Use separate handlers for interrupts

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: Use separate handlers for interrupts For PF to AF interrupt vector and VF to AF vector same interrupt handler is registered which is causing race condition. When two interrupts are raised to two CPUs at same time then two cores serve same event corrupting the data.

spi: spi-mt65xx: Fix NULL pointer access in interrupt handler

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: spi-mt65xx: Fix NULL pointer access in interrupt handler The TX buffer in spi_transfer can be a NULL pointer, so the interrupt handler may end up writing to the invalid memory and cause crashes. Add a check to trans->tx_buf before using it.

netfilter: br_netfilter: skip conntrack input hook for promisc packets

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: br_netfilter: skip conntrack input hook for promisc packets For historical reasons, when bridge device is in promisc mode, packets that are directed to the taps follow bridge input hook path. This patch adds a workaround to reset conntrack for these packets. Jianbo Liu reports warning splats in their test infrastructure where cloned packets reach the br_netfilter input hook to confirm the conntrack object. Scratch one bit from BR_INPUT_SKB_CB to annotate that this packet has reached the input hook because it is passed up to the bridge device to reach the taps.

netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: walk over current view on netlink dump

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: walk over current view on netlink dump The generation mask can be updated while netlink dump is in progress. The pipapo set backend walk iterator cannot rely on it to infer what view of the datastructure is to be used. Add notation to specify if user wants to read/update the set. Based on patch from Florian Westphal.

    netfilter: flowtable: incorrect pppoe tuple

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: incorrect pppoe tuple pppoe traffic reaching ingress path does not match the flowtable entry because the pppoe header is expected to be at the network header offset. This bug causes a mismatch in the flow table lookup, so pppoe packets enter the classical forwarding path.

tun: limit printing rate when illegal packet received by tun dev

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: limit printing rate when illegal packet received by tun dev vhost_worker will call tun call backs to receive packets. If too many illegal packets arrives, tun_do_read will keep dumping packet contents. When console is enabled, it will costs much more cpu time to dump packet and soft lockup will be detected. net_ratelimit mechanism can be used to limit the dumping rate. netfilter: nf_tables: restore set elements when delete set fails

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: restore set elements when delete set fails From abort path, nft_mapelem_activate() needs to restore refcounters to the original state. Currently, it uses the set->ops->walk() to iterate over these set elements. The existing set iterator skips inactive elements in the next generation, this does not work from the abort path to restore the original state since it has to skip active elements instead (not inactive ones). This patch moves the check for inactive elements to the set iterator callback, then it reverses the logic for the .activate case which ne

s390/cio: fix race condition during online processing

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/cio: fix race condition during online processing A race condition exists in ccw_device_set_online() that can cause the online process to fail, leaving the affected device in an inconsistent state. As a result, subsequent attempts to set that device online fail with return code ENODEV. The problem occurs when a path verification request arrives after a wait for final device state completed, but before the result state is evaluated. Fix this by ensuring that the CCW-device lock is held between determining final state and checking result state. Note that since: commit

drm: nv04: Fix out of bounds access

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm: nv04: Fix out of bounds access When Output Resource (dcb->or) value is assigned in fabricate_dcb_output(), there may be out of bounds access to dac_users array in case dcb->or is zero because ffs(dcb->or) is used as index there. The 'or' argument of fabricate_dcb_output() must be interpreted as a number of bit to set, not value. Utilize macros from 'enum nouveau_or' in calls instead of hardcoding. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
