    fbdev: smscufx: fix error handling code in ufx_usb_probe

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: smscufx: fix error handling code in ufx_usb_probe The current error handling code in ufx_usb_probe have many unmatching issues, e.g., missing ufx_free_usb_list, destroy_modedb label should only include framebuffer_release, fb_dealloc_cmap only matches fb_alloc_cmap. wifi: brcmfmac: Check the count value of channel spec to prevent out-of-bounds reads

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: Check the count value of channel spec to prevent out-of-bounds reads This patch fixes slab-out-of-bounds reads in brcmfmac that occur in brcmf_construct_chaninfo() and brcmf_enable_bw40_2g() when the count value of channel specifications provided by the device is greater than the length of 'list->element[]', decided by the size of the 'list' allocated with kzalloc(). The patch adds checks that make the functions free the buffer and return -EINVAL if that is the case. Note that the negative return is handled by the caller, brcmf_setup_wiphybands() or brcmf_cf

    gfs2: Always check inode size of inline inodes

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Always check inode size of inline inodes Check if the inode size of stuffed (inline) inodes is within the allowed range when reading inodes from disk (gfs2_dinode_in()). This prevents us from on-disk corruption. The two checks in stuffed_readpage() and gfs2_unstuffer_page() that just truncate inline data to the maximum allowed size don't actually make sense, and they can be removed now as well.

    mm/khugepaged: fix ->anon_vma race

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/khugepaged: fix ->anon_vma race If an ->anon_vma is attached to the VMA, collapse_and_free_pmd() requires it to be locked. Page table traversal is allowed under any one of the mmap lock, the anon_vma lock (if the VMA is associated with an anon_vma), and the mapping lock (if the VMA is associated with a mapping); and so to be able to remove page tables, we must hold all three of them. retract_page_tables() bails out if an ->anon_vma is attached, but does this check before holding the mmap lock (as the comment above the check explains). If we racily merged an existing -

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usbnet: gl620a: fix endpoint checking in genelink_bind() Syzbot reports [1] a warning in usb_submit_urb() triggered by inconsistencies between expected and actually present endpoints in gl620a driver. Since genelink_bind() does not properly verify whether specified eps are in fact provided by the device, in this case, an artificially manufactured one, one may get a mismatch. Fix the issue by resorting to a usbnet utility function usbnet_get_endpoints(), usually reserved for this very problem. tee: optee: Fix supplicant wait loop

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tee: optee: Fix supplicant wait loop OP-TEE supplicant is a user-space daemon and it's possible for it be hung or crashed or killed in the middle of processing an OP-TEE RPC call. It becomes more complicated when there is incorrect shutdown ordering of the supplicant process vs the OP-TEE client application which can eventually lead to system hang-up waiting for the closure of the client application. Allow the client process waiting in kernel for supplicant response to be killed rather than indefinitely waiting in an unkillable state. Also, a normal uninterruptible wait sh

    mm/migrate_device: don't add folio to be freed to LRU in migrate_device_finalize()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/migrate_device: don't add folio to be freed to LRU in migrate_device_finalize() If migration succeeded, we called folio_migrate_flags()->mem_cgroup_migrate() to migrate the memcg from the old to the new folio. This will set memcg_data of the old folio to 0. Similarly, if migration failed, memcg_data of the dst folio is left unset. If we call folio_putback_lru() on such folios (memcg_data == 0), we will add the folio to be freed to the LRU, making memcg code unhappy. geneve: Fix use-after-free in geneve_find_dev().

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: geneve: Fix use-after-free in geneve_find_dev(). syzkaller reported a use-after-free in geneve_find_dev() [0] without repro. geneve_configure() links struct geneve_dev.next to net_generic(net, geneve_net_id)->geneve_list. The net here could differ from dev_net(dev) if IFLA_NET_NS_PID, IFLA_NET_NS_FD, or IFLA_TARGET_NETNSID is set. When dev_net(dev) is dismantled, geneve_exit_batch_rtnl() finally calls unregister_netdevice_queue() for each dev in the netns, and later the dev is freed. However, its geneve_dev.next is still linked to the backend UDP socket netns. Then, us

It is invalid to access the skb memory after sending the buffer to the VIOS because, at any point after sending, the VIOS can trigger an interrupt to free this memory. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: acct: perform last write from workqueue In [1] it was reported that the acct(2) system call can be used to trigger NULL deref in cases where it is set to write to a file that triggers an internal lookup. This can e.g., happen when pointing acc(2) to /sys/power/resume. At the point the where the write to this file happens the calling task has already exited and called exit_fs(). A lookup will thus trigger a NULL-deref when accessing current->fs. Reorganize the code so that the the final write happens from the workqueue but with the caller's credentials. This preserves the (
